Grant has been on the board of Kind Consumer since January 2009 and was one of the small number of early investors who provided the initial seed investment.  He is the Managing Partner of NorthEdge Capital LLP, a lower mid-market private equity firm based in Manchester. Until June 2008, Grant was Managing Director at Lloyds TSB Development Capital Limited (“LDC”) responsible for all LDC’s national new investments for their eleven UK wide offices. During his five year tenure in this role, LDC grew their national investments from circa £120m per annum to approaching £300m, with pre-tax profits rising to in excess of £100m. Over this period of time LDC were transacting circa 25 – 30 deals a year on both the buy and sell side with key exits emanating from trade sales, secondary buy outs and Initial Public Offerings. Prior to joining LDC, Grant spent ten years at PWC primarily in the corporate finance team.
