Mr. Paul Triniman – Chief Executive Officer

Paul has a degree in Economics and is a Chartered Accountant. He has been Finance Director of two mid-250 companies on the London Stock Exchange and has in excess of 29 years experience as a finance professional, venture capitalist and entrepreneur. He has held a number of Board level appointments, primarily within the life sciences and biotech industries. Paul trained with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co (now part of KPMG) where he spent 10 years as a professional accountant ultimately specialising in acquisition advisory services. He was Finance Director of Life Sciences International PLC, an acquisition driven Group specialising in the manufacture of laboratory equipment. He was also instrumental in the flotation of Oxford GlycoSciences plc, an Oxford University spin-out, proteomics based drug discovery and development company. More latterly Paul has been an executive director and carried interest partner at MVM Ltd a fund manager specialising in life sciences investments and Chief Financial Officer of another Oxford University spin-out, Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd. He has also held non-executive positions with several private companies and has extensive experience of businesses in both the USA and Europe.
