15th August 2018, LONDON, UK – Kind Consumer Holdings Limited the Company behind the medically regulated Voke 0.45mg Nicotine Inhaler announces that it has raised further funding from both existing and new investors. The funds will be used to complete set up of state of the art manufacturing capacity for Voke and to start recruitment of key marketing personnel to support the UK market launch due in 2019.
Voke 0.45mg Nicotine Inhaler was granted a product licence for a medicinal product from the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in September 2014. The product has been delayed getting to market due to scale up manufacturing issues. However, in January 2017 Kind Consumer took direct responsibility for manufacturing and is working towards UK market launch in 2019.
Paul Triniman, CEO of Kind Consumer said, “This funding is another step towards commercialisation of Voke, a product which promises to make a real difference to the health burden of smoking by offering an alternative to smoking for smokers and those around them”.
